CAN A 3-YEAR-OLD GO PARAGLIDING?

The answer is yes! At SAPA PARAGLIDING, children from 3 years old and above can enjoy a tandem paragliding flight, provided they are in suitable health conditions and have parental consent. For many children, this is much more than a tourist activity—it is their very first experience of flying. The moment their feet leave the ground, the mountains, valleys, and villages of Sapa unfold beneath them like a giant painting.

Children receive even more care and attention than adults. Every flight is conducted one-on-one with an experienced tandem pilot who carefully prepares the equipment, explains every step, and stays with the child throughout the entire journey. Many parents worry that their children might be scared. Surprisingly, the opposite is often true. Kids are usually brave, excited, and excellent at following instructions. Quite often, it is the parents who feel nervous while the children are smiling from takeoff to landing. From the sky, they discover a new world—terraced rice fields, winding roads, and the breathtaking mountains of Northwest Vietnam.
