Service Delivery Policy

Paragliding is an experience delivered in person in Sa Pa; no goods are shipped. This policy replaces a shipping & delivery policy and describes how CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN THỂ THAO VÀ DU LỊCH DÙ LƯỢN SA PA delivers the service.
1. What the service includes
Tandem paragliding: you fly with a professionally trained, certified pilot using standard-compliant flying equipment.
Expected airtime is 8–15 minutes per flight; it may be shorter in weak wind or longer in good weather, depending on conditions, the passenger's health and the pilot's decision. The whole experience takes about 90 minutes.
Items included in each package (GoPro photos & video, drinks at the flight site, paragliding insurance, participation certificate, hotel transfer, drone, 360 camera…) are listed on the Prices page.
Flights are licensed under Flight Permit No. 17996/TC-QC issued by the Operations Department – General Staff, Ministry of National Defence; Certificate of eligibility for paragliding sports business No. 02/GCN-SVHTT issued by the Department of Culture and Sports of Lao Cai Province.
2. Flying site
Take-off: take-off office at Tổ 3, Bản Hang Đá, Phường Sa Pa, Lào Cai.
Landing: landing office at Cầu Lao Chải, Xã Tả Van, Sa Pa, Lào Cai.
Exact locations are confirmed with your booking and may change with the day's weather and wind direction.
3. Pickup and timing
After receiving your booking we contact you to arrange the schedule: flight time, pickup point and pickup time. Pickup is about 30 minutes before the flight.
Meeting point: Sun Plaza shopping centre in central Sa Pa, or your hotel / homestay in Sa Pa, Lao Chai or Ta Van (please give the address when booking).
Round-trip hotel transfer covers central Sa Pa, Ta Van and Lao Chai. For other pickup points or non-flying companions, we will quote and agree a suitable surcharge in advance.
On the flight day we send the driver's name, phone number and vehicle plate by SMS, WhatsApp or email. Please be at the meeting point 15–30 minutes before pickup time.
4. Health, weight and age requirements
Maximum weight 110 kg. Over 95 kg, please tell us in advance so we can assign a suitable pilot and equipment.
Basic fitness and the ability to run a short distance at take-off.
Children from 3 years old can fly with a pilot if they fit the harness and can follow simple instructions. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who signs for them.
Not suitable for: people with high blood pressure, epilepsy, heart disease, asthma or other serious medical conditions; pregnant women; people with disabilities; the elderly; infants; people prone to dizziness or fainting or with spine or joint conditions.
5. Flight safety
At take-off you meet your pilot, receive a take-off briefing, put on the flying gear and practise the moves before flying.
Follow your pilot's instructions: at take-off, run strongly and continuously and do not stop until the pilot tells you to.
The pilot may refuse or stop a flight whenever safety is at risk (weather, health, passenger behaviour, unsafe items or pets).
Clothing: comfortable long sleeves and trousers, sports or hiking shoes; no skirts or high heels; shoes can be borrowed free of charge if needed. A small personal bag (1–2 kg) is allowed; items over 3 kg or that affect safety may be refused.
6. Insurance
All flight packages include paragliding insurance for the passenger.
Please enter your personal details exactly as on your ID/passport when booking. Incorrect details may invalidate the insurance.
7. Photos and videos
GoPro photos and videos are usually ready right after the flight and copied straight to your phone (please keep at least 4 GB free). 360 camera videos need editing and are sent within 24 hours via Zalo, Drive or WhatsApp.
